Building permits
The planning of construction projects is being increasingly determined by regulations and obtaining permits. Building permits, demolition permits, logging permits, water permits, environmental permits, exit permits, user permits and so forth. Rules are becoming more complex, requirements are becoming more stringent, enforcement is becoming stricter and consequences and risks are increasing. For years, the VEK consultants have been involved in permits in The Netherlands and therefore have an excellent knowledge of the current Dutch rules.
For projects abroad we make use of our international experience and usually work together with a local architect who knows the local rules and circumstances. VEK can take care of the drawings and the calculations that can be used for the building permits for the local authorities. For the actual application a local architect will have to be involved, who will make sure the application is filed in the right way.
