Development of an agro logistic centre to support the export of horticultural products from Ghana to Europe. The project includes the development of a distribution centre in the port of Tema, a perishable centre at the airport of Accra and conditioned facilities at the production locations. The facilities are organized for fruit, vegetables and ornamentals.
In 2005 the distribution centre was built in Tema.
VEK was responsible for supervision until commissioning, including planning, design, engineering, tendering & contracting. Partner Adviesburo Verhoef was responsible for the cooling installations.
