For this investment association a strategic study had to be carried out on the opportunities for horticultural development in Iceland. The focus was on sustainability and renewable energy sources, such as terrestrial heat. In a later stage a follow-up study of horticultural development was carried out with a focus on an analysis of the existing infrastructure for R & D and hortification activities.
